Frequently Asked Questions
Can you repair any alloy wheel?
In most cases, yes. Our trained and experienced technicians are well equipped to deal with almost any eventuality. Still not sure? Send us a picture and we will let you know.
How do I know if I have Diamond Cut Alloy wheels?
The face of the alloy is very shiny, almost like the back of a CD.
How long will repairs take?
This depends on what you are booked in for, but we will always discuss this with you when you make a booking. For general guidance, allow 1-2 days for a full set of diamond cut wheels.
Can you match the colour of my alloys?
We stock most OEM wheel colours from both vehicle and alloy manufacturers. If we don’t have it we will attempt to use our spectrophotometer to match the existing colour. In extreme cases we will offer a closest match to your existing paint.
Can you remove and refit my TPMS valves and sensors?
We take the upmost care in removing and refitting your TPMS valves and sensors. Whilst we often successfully remove metal valves the rubber TPMS valves are not removable and reusable and must be replaced. (Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems)
Can you repair buckled and bent alloys?
Without looking at each wheel on a case by case basis we do not have a blanket policy. All we can say is if we think it’s safe to repair we will.
Do you repair cracked alloy wheels?
No we don’t. We will never compromise customer safety.
Can you refurbish my split rims?
We do not offer a split rim repair service on any two and three piece alloys. This is due to the safety of removing the bolts which often snap requiring unsafe redrilling followed by helicoiling. We will however paint the alloys if you split them.
Does the work come with any guarantee?
Yes, all of the work we carry out carries a 12 month no quibble returns policy. If you are not happy, we are not happy and we will always put that right.
